Frame Nailer

Triad Frame Nailer

The Triad Frame Nailer is a rugged machine designed to provide fast, efficient, reliable assembly.  The machine eliminates mis-alignment of parts and use of dangerous hand tools.  All air systems have adjustable air cushions where needed to protect he equipment and the product.  Muffler exhaust ports reduce noise and add to general safety.  Guaranteed consistency of product even with mixed runs.  Machine adapts quickly to produce today's frame styles from clad frames to sun roofs.  All components are precision machined for longer life, reliable accuracy and the finest quality available.  Solid steel tool bar provides a rigid straight line with each tool holder individually mounted on adjustable castings.  The machine requires only periodic lubrication and  adjustments, as stated in the maintenance manual.  Oil cups and grease fittings are located for easy accessibility.

Triad's exclusive solenoid firing system is designed to clamp material assuring tight joints before firing.  Each tool is independently mounted and stroked allowing individual shut-off and automatic adjustment for material variances.  Once clamped in place, only tools over material can fire; and those tools can only fire once until the clamping cycle is repeated.  Results are a clean fast operation with no wasted fasteners and a tight accurate finished product.  Quick detaching tool mounts eliminate downtime due to jams or malfunctions.  Loosening two bolts changes tools in seconds.  Each tool mount can be moved easily anywhere along the tool bar.  This makes fast set-ups when nailing frames with cranks and/or latches.  The material is laid in and clamped into position by the holding fixtures located along the length of the table.  Holding fixtures may be easily adjusted and moved anywhere along the table.  Squaring fixtures assure consistently tight joints even when nailing blind.  All components are automatically aligned against the end stops prior to clamping and nailing.  Squaring stops may be set up to handle both right and left hand.  Let Triad help you control today's spiraling costs by combining custom made holding fixtures with the best field proven and tested fastening system available.  Clamping cylinders self-adjust for mill tolerance in lumber. Triad's clamping action assures a tight joint.  Most any power hand tool using either nails or staples eliminates rejection due to shiners.  Also better holding than clinched wire.  Be assured of accurate staple or nail placement to specification required time after time.  Once laid into the fixtures, the frame and all its components are clamped in three directions prior to nailing.  First against the end squaring stops than along the entire length against the aligning stops.  Activating the staple pushbuttons brings the individual tools down for the final clamp.  BANG!  This entire cycle takes only 2 or 3 seconds.

Triad's control system is simple to operate with the push-button station mounted on a moveable stand for operator convenience.  Adjustable height accommodates operator preference and reduces fatigue.  Two-hand actuation of clamp and staple functions keeps operator's hands away form the work area.  The circuitry is designed using standard relays to reduce maintenance and assist repairs if it should be necessary.  Plug-in relays eliminate rewiring if replacement should be required.  Cycle functions are electrically inter-locked to eliminate un-timely sequencing.  Electrical-over-air system allows precise control of moving parts.  Also provides easier trouble-shooting, improved energy efficiency and reduces need for clean air.  Simple adjustment of air regulator assures correct pressure to the machine and its air activated components.
