CLAMPS DOOR LENGTH ADJUSTMENT A rack and pinion adjustment allows the Model 1300 to accept doors ranging form 6' to 8' in length. Once the desired length is set on the built-in scale, the adjustment is locked into place be a convenient T-clamp. SAFETY STOP The safety stop holds the carriage in the back position until the operator is ready to begin the cutting operations. This safety feature prevents the door from being advanced into the saws accidentally. SAFETY COVERS The blades are concealed under safety covers to protect the operator and to keep sawdust and other debris from collecting around the motors. DOOR STOP The adjustable door stop can be set quickly for ensuring an accurate cut on every door. SAWS The Model 1300 is equipped with four 8", carbide-tipped saws powered by heavy-duty, totally enclosed, locked-bearing 5 HP motors. When a door is advanced, the saws cut from bottom and top sides to guarantee a smooth even edge on both sides of the door. OPEN CONSTRUCTION The Model 1300 is designed to allow sawdust to fall through to the floor, avoiding a hazardous build-up of debris around machine parts. SCALE An accurate scale permanently attached to the frame permits rapid adjustment for door length. BEVEL ADJUSTMENT On the stationary side of the machine is a simple adjustment that allows a bevel range from 0º to 15º. OPERATION When the door is pushed into position on the carriage, the pneumatic clamps are automatically activated to hold the door in place. When the operator is ready, he simply disengages the safety stop and eases the carriage forward. The durable carbide-tipped saws trim both door ends from top and bottom. Once the door is trimmed, the operator pulls the carriage back, releases the clamps and unloads the finished door. The model 1300 is designed to operate in conjunction with the Ruvo model 1100 with a minimum of door handling. *All specifications are subject to change without notice* |
