Assembly Machine
provides a fast and accurate method of
assembling both side jambs, header and door into
a pre-hung unit. The operator rolls the door
onto the 1278 assembly table. The feed-through
pop-up rollers lower the door into the assembly
machine. The strike jamb and head jamb are put
in place. The operator pushes a button, the
machine clamps and fires. The door then is
rolled off the machine. This machine is fitted
with four fastener tools; one at each corner
with variable index firing features. The frame
header can be inserted at either end of the
machine. In addition, proximity sensors
automatically adjust the machine for left or
right hand doors thus eliminating manual turning
of doors for right and left hand assembly.
