RUVO
1100 Door Sizer & Beveler
|
With this machine, a relatively unskilled worker can assist
your production. May be used in conjunction with
the Ruvo Model 1300 Double-end Door Trim Saw. Built in accuracy Efficiency High Speed Smooth cuts Trouble free Heavy-duty construction All at an affordable price FEATURES Solid cutter-head equipped with four carbide-tipped knives 90 degree or bevel cuts Easily adjustable bevel angle Variable speed power in feed High speed routing of top and bottom corners OPERATION The operator simply turns on the machine power and loads a door onto the machine. Once the door is under the control of the power in-feed, the operator can release the door and allow the machine to do all the work. The variable speed in-feed carries the door past the carbide tipped cutter-head, which is powered by a heavy duty 3 HP motor. The cutter sizes and bevels the door simultaneously. As the door emerges from the cutting station, it passes a high speed router that will ease the corners. The operator inserts the next door behind the completed door. The Model 1100 is designed to operate in conjunction with the Model 1300 with a minimum of door handling. GENERAL Model 1100 accepts either exterior or interior doors and feeds them automatically, Doors of the same width no adjustments are required. This means you can size and bevel (0-3 degrees) stacks of mixed door without losing valuable time. SAFETY The cutter assembly on the model 1100 is shielded to protect operators and to prevent sawdust and other debris from collecting on the machine bed. All electric switches are located in the control box for easy accessibility; included are magnetic starters and a stop button that allows you to instantly halt operations if necessary. Smooth, vibration free operations are assured because the model 1100 is well-braced and has a firm, wide stance. Bolts at the base of the legs allow leveling of the machine on uneven floors. WIDTH ADJUSTMENT The cutter carriage glides on ball bearings, permitting the operator to easily adjust for any door width between 16" and 48" in 2" increments. A fine adjustment scale is then utilized for a precise setting of desired width, and a locking handle firmly holds this position. CUTTER A durable cutter-head with four carbide-tipped knives is belt-driven by a powerful 3HP motor, ensuring a smooth, even cut on every door. The knives can be removed and re-sharpened for longer life. SPRING LOADED CUTTER GUIDES Once a door is loaded onto the machine bed, spring-loaded guides keep it square throughout the machining operation. VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE With a turn of a knob, the operator can vary the speed of the in-feed. This allows swift compensation for doors of different materials and construction. (which can increase cycle times) HIGH SPEED ROUTER After a door is cut, it is fed past a high speed router to smooth out any rough places on the door corners. RUBBER PADS Pads on the drive chains protect doors-eliminating the risk of scars and scratches.
